A brief overview
The classification of digital files is an issue of the user's daily life, which usually concerns the appropriate name of the file, the storage location, and the general memorization for quick and easy identification.
The usual guidelines for names, as well as placement in folders and sub-folders, are useful, but they do not cover all cases. Thus, in SoL it was deemed necessary to develop naming and storage specifications, depending on the subject of the project.
These individual specifications compose the project SoL DFLS (Digital Files Library Specifications). Today the project is active, and the specifications are in daily use. There are some pending issues regarding its documentation, while there are thoughts about its publication, through Suncity Labs Publications.
