Curriculum vitae
I was born in 1958 in Athens, where I grew up, studied, and work to this day. My native language is Greek, while I use English, as my second language, with great comfort.

I have been using for many years, the literary nickname Christos ForeverChild, because it expresses my effort to keep unchanged the child that we all have in us. My real name is Christos Kardiakos, a very beautiful name, which I bear with particular pride, since Christos needs no special introduction, while the surname Kardiakos means “man of the heart”, or “man who suffers from the heart”. As usual in this world, all interpretations contain their own truth! … :)
Between 1964-1976, I completed my basic studies in Elementary and High School, in public schools, where I was exceptionally fortunate to have truly commendable teachers. Between 1976-1981, I continued my studies, first in the field of Marketing and Advertising, and then in the fields of Computer Programming and Systems Analysis, having as lecturers pioneers of IT in Greece.
In 1980, when I began my professional career, I had the opportunity to experience the transition from magnetic card systems to magnetic disk systems, and the "revolution" of using screens to communicate with the user. I feel like a small “Dinosaur of Informatics”, since I belong to a generation of professionals, who have been involved in and systematically follow the whole range of developments in the modern era of information technology, from the moment of its birth until today.
In 1987, I founded the legendary “Algernon Systems”, a consulting firm, which I maintained until 2000, when I suspended activities towards third parties, and followed the path of self-investment in projects.. The new period in my life, which coincided with the beginning of the new millennium, was marked by the founding of Suncity Labs (SoL), a hospitable home, under whose roof I have carried out all my activities since then. I continue to work continuously with IT, having to date a multitude of studies and projects in progress.
Since 2001, due to my love for music and the guitar, I started the hobby of repairing and improving stringed musical instruments. A very interesting occupation, which led me to equip a specialized workshop, design special tools, and implement innovative methodologies for their time.
Since my student days, I have been involved in public affairs, inspired by the ideas of National Independence, Democracy, and Freedom. Whenever I was given the opportunity, I offered selflessly, without seeking personal promotion or any other reward. I managed to remain truly independent, but also to maintain my right to freely express my opinion.
The special conditions that prevailed during the Covid-19 era, and my concern about the slide and mutation of our Democratic system, led me on the path of Historical-Political Research, of writing, and to Suncity Labs Publications.
Due to my long involvement with systems analysis, research, and musical instrument tuning, I am more accustomed to listening than speaking. When I do, however, I use the sometimes "annoying" language of Truth, embellishing it whenever I can, with my own idiosyncratic humor! I write my books in exactly the same way!
I hope my writing activity will be useful to everyone! … :)
